Warm Oregon Vineyard - Original 6" by 6" Oil on Board Painting by Paula Litchfield

The pastoral nature of this vineyard painting brings a sense of peace and tranquility. I painted this with the intent to bring an interesting loose and free feeling. The black underpainting gives a moody feel to the greens and blues of the natural scene. The overall feel is warm and inviting.

The small 6" by 6" size of this piece is ideal for intimate viewing such as in a kitchen or near a bedside. It is painted in oils on a birch panel with 1" cedar sides (cradle). Though it is small, it has a lot to say about depth and perspective.
