Newport Harbor- 14"H by 10"W Oil on Birch Board
I painted this scene while standing on the docks at Newport Harbor. Painting from life is challenging but it creates an energy that is hard to recreate in the studio. Like many days at the coast, the wind picked up part way through the morning which disturbed the reflection. Hopefully I still captured it.
